If you are likely to be trading with or through Northern Ireland you will be required to register for an ‘XI’ EORI number by signing up to the HMRC Trader Support Service Trader Support Service . This service will help you complete any declarations with NI on your behalf as well as providing you with up to date information. HMRC are currently reviewing business which they believe will require this and will issue these XI EORI numbers to those identified by mid-December.
