Fundraising for worthwhile causes at the heart of what we do…
At Drummond Laurie, our staff are hugely enthusiastic about raising vital funds for amazing charities and this year we have been raising cash for British Heart Foundation.
British Heart Foundation funds around £100 million of research each year into all heart and circulatory diseases and the things that cause them such as heart diseases, stroke, vascular dementia and diabetes.
Our team also appreciate it’s essential to know how to save a life, which is why 22 of our staff took part in CPR training – one of the most important life skills you could learn.
Created by medical experts with over 60 years’ experience, RevivR is the British Heart Foundation’s new, interactive CPR training course – which means in just 15 minutes, you can learn how to save a life. You also receive a CPR certificate.
Most of our team are now accessing the RevivR CPR online:

“The team really enjoyed their training, now equipped with the essential knowledge to save someone’s life through CPR. We now have our own defibrillator, which is in reception.
In terms of fundraising activities, as well as taking part in the Glasgow Kiltwalk, some members of the team have signed up for the Dundee Kiltwalk in August and then the big one, the London Marathon in October.
We’ll also be hosting soup and cake days, running raffles and our buckets will be at the ready for the first game of the season for Falkirk Football club. Watch this space for the total funds raised for British Heart Foundation!”
