We are delighted to have sponsored a numbDrummond Laurie Chartered Accountantser of local agricultural shows again this year and on Saturday 28th of July it was Braco Show.

The show gives locals the opportunity to showcase their livestock, as well as catch up with friends and have a great day out. Unfortunately, the glorious weather wasn’t to last, but it didn’t stop the show going ahead and being enjoyed by all. For some the rain would have been welcomed, as this heatwave has been causing problems for many farmers up and down the country.   One of the highlights of the show was the pig racing, which was this year’s main ring entertainment.

Margaret Bunyan, one of our agricultural specialists at Drummond Laurie, is the Treasurer for the show and like other committee members was present on the day to ensure that it ran smoothly. Margaret’s 4-month-old son, Owen, attended the show and although he loved popping into the Secretary’s tent to see his mum, he also loved seeing the vintage tractors!

At Drummond Laurie we work closely with our farming clients providing them with specialist proactive taxation, accountancy and business advice. If you would like to discuss an agricultural related accountancy query, then please contact us.
