bedrock-strath5Drummond Laurie Chartered AccountantsWe were delighted to be able to handover our clothes collection to Bedrock for their Cosy Kids Campaign 2016 but we were even happier that we had been able to support Strathcarron Hospice too.  The money raised from our Bake Off day was used to buy lots of children’s clothes from Strathcarron to give to Bedrock to help keep some children warm this winter!

According to a report by Save the Children, 1 in 5 children in Scotland live in poverty, with 14% of them without at least one winter coat. Early Years services support many of these children. At Bedrock, they regularly visit Early Years services to provide them with help and support. Time and time again, they are asked to provide clothes to keep children warm and dry, allowing them to play out in the garden in all weathers. Last year they managed to donate a few black bags of winter jackets and welly boots. This year they hope to do more!
