Robert is a Partner at Drummond Laurie with 18 years of hands-on experience advising and supporting SME owner-managed family businesses. His background in financial advisory and business management has provided him with deep insights into the unique challenges and opportunities these businesses face. He takes pride in building enduring client relationships that enable his clients to achieve both their professional and personal goals.

In his current role, Robert oversees the firm’s “non-recurring” added value work, bringing a wealth of experience in financial due diligence for both business sales and acquisitions. His experience, including acting as a part-time FD for many of his clients, reinforces his ability to deliver both strategic and operational financial guidance.

He is passionate about harnessing AI and technology to create innovative solutions that enhance the firm’s internal operations, the day-to-day working life of the team, and ultimately the services we provide to our clients.

Outside of the office, Robert stays active through fitness, attends music concerts, and is an avid football enthusiast. He also cherishes quality time with his wife Julie and their two lovely daughters, Hope and Holly.
