Strathcarron Hospice has joined up with 200 other hospices across the UK to help raise public awareness and surprise people with just what hospice care is, and what it can mean to dying people and their families.
This year for Hospice Care Week (03-09 October) the people of Forth Valley, Cumbernauld and Kilsyth are being asked to join Strathcarron in sharing what “hospice care is” and what it means to them, their families and the community. Strathcarron wants to show everyone how hospice care can be anything from pain relief to arranging a wedding.
Hospice care is centred around the person. It is unique to the individual and those close to them, helping adults and children living with life-limiting illness to live life as fully as possible.
This week some of the team here at Drummond Laurie will be sharing with you our thoughts on what hospice care means to us and we look forward to seeing what it means to everyone else too!
To get involved simply print the share card below, write your message and post on social media #HospiceCareWeek #Strathcarron
