Today we celebrate World Diabetes Day and recognise the fantastic work done by Diabetes UK.
Each year Drummond Laurie supports a charity of the year and in 2023, Debbie, one of our team members, who has lived with Type 1 diabetes for 50 years, nominated Diabetes UK. We have been delighted by the support of the team who have taken part in a “Drummond Laurie Bake Off’, a walking challenge in May, Dundee Kiltwalk, a Cake sale…….the walking challenges have helped to burn some calories after all the cakes. Our final event for the year was a Race Night.
We are delighted to have raised £5,261 to support Diabetes UK and raise awareness of this lifelong condition.
